1) Bookings, Availability, and Service Changes
All rides, tours, and charters are subject to availability.
Routes, timing, and pickup/drop-off details may be adjusted due to traffic, construction, special events, safety concerns, or City of Houston restrictions.
We reserve the right to substitute a comparable pedicab/vehicle if necessary for safety or operational reasons (including maintenance issues).
2) Weather Policy
Houston Pedicab Company operates (light) rain or shine.
In the event of severe weather (including lightning, flooding, high winds, or any unsafe conditions), Houston Pedicab Company may delay, modify, reschedule, or cancel service for safety.
If we cancel due to severe weather, you will receive a reschedule or service credit (valid for 12 months).
If service proceeds and you choose not to attend, the cancellation policy applies.
3) Cancellation, Reschedule, and No-Show Policy
48+ hours before ride time: You may reschedule or request a full refund.
Less than 48 hours: Bookings are non-refundable, because drivers and equipment are reserved specifically for your time slot.
No-shows and late arrivals that prevent the ride from occurring are non-refundable.
If you need to change your booking, contact us as soon as possible. Availability for rescheduling is limited near the ride date.
4) Passenger Safety & Ride Rules
All passengers must remain seated while the pedicab is in motion.
Do not lean out, stand up, or change seats while moving.
Passenger capacity is limited to the seating capacity of the pedicab. We cannot exceed the safe limit.
For safety, we may refuse service to anyone whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or intoxicated.
5) Alcohol / Conduct
Guests must comply with all applicable Texas and City of Houston rules regarding public conduct and alcohol.
We reserve the right to end a ride without refund if a guest’s behavior is unsafe, threatening, or damages property.
6) Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for personal items. Houston Pedicab Company is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
7) Photos / Marketing (Optional)
We may take photos/video during rides for marketing. If you do not want to appear in promotional content, tell your driver before the ride begins.
8) Payments, Chargebacks, and Disputes
Payments are processed securely via third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe/PayPal).
If there is an issue, contact us first so we can resolve it quickly.
Fraudulent chargebacks or chargebacks that ignore these published policies may be disputed with documentation of the booking, attendance, and the agreed terms.
9) Limitation of Liability / Assumption of Risk
This is an outdoor transportation activity. By booking and participating, you acknowledge risks including, but not limited to, road hazards, sudden stops, weather exposure, and other conditions beyond our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, you agree that Houston Pedicab Company, its owners, contractors, and drivers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.
10) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Houston Pedicab Company from claims arising from your conduct, your party’s conduct, or your violation of these terms.
